Liquid EDTA 18% is a chelating agent, used inside the pulp cavity to prepare the walls of root canals. It acts in the demineralization of dentin particles, facilitating their dissolution and efficiently removing dentin mud and scrapings, increasing the permeability of dentin and facilitating the adhesion of the treated connective tissue on the root surface in periodontal therapy.
