Edetale Gel Gel based on EDTA 20% without peroxide to identify the orifice of the canals of teeth 5 ml, TehnoDent

  • Gel -like liquid (gel ) contains: EDTA (20%), paste-forming agent, antiseptic and filler.
  • The main component - EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetate sodium and potassium), getting on the dentin, forms a complex with dentinal calcium, loosens the structure of hard tissues. The optimal pH value of the gel promotes effective complex formation, which facilitates the development of calcified and sclerosed canal orifices, cleaning and formation of hard-to-reach tooth canals.
  • The gelling agent serves as a good lubricant for endodontic instruments .
  • The water-soluble base of the gel allows you to easily and quickly clean the channels with water.
  • The material is made for use in an aggressive biological environment in the temperature range from 32C to 42C (in the conditions of the oral cavity at a temperature of (371) 0 C and a humidity of 60-90%).

Indications for use :

  • Identification and formation of the mouth of the root canals;
  • Lubrication of instruments during chemical-mechanical expansion of channels.

Why choose gel :

  • Good lubricant for endodontic instruments;
  • Rapid penetration of the drug into the channels and microtubules;
  • Easily washed out with water.

Mode of application:

  • Before applying the dental gel (EDTA), it is desirable to isolate the tooth with a rubber dam. Expand the cavity of the tooth and clean the pulp chamber. Then lubricate the instrument for expanding the channel with gel (EDTA) and carry out mechanical expansion without effort. If necessary, repeat the procedure several times using a fresh portion of the gel.
  • It is recommended to alternate the canal expansion procedure with washing or irrigation of the canals with 1-3% sodium hypochlorite solution.
  • Then the canal is rinsed with distilled water using an endodontic needle.
  • The material is made for use in an aggressive biological environment in the temperature range from 32C to 42C (in the conditions of the oral cavity at a temperature of (371) 0 C and a humidity of 60-90%).
  • Attention! Do not leave material in the channel!
  • After each use, the material should be tightly closed with a lid.
