Dentsply Aquasil Soft Putty Regular Set is a very high viscosity impression material with optimum flexibility for easy removal from undercuts.

 

Description

  • Dentsply Aquasil is an elastomeric impression material with very high viscosity
  • The material has optimum amount of flexibility for easy removal of the impression from undercuts
  • This very high viscosity putty impression material is based on quadrafunctional hydrophilic siloxanes
  • Aquasil is suitable for all precision impression techniques. It displays excellent hydrophilic properties that improve the materials wettability.
  • The dimensional accuracy, high tear strength and resistance to permanent deformation makes Aquasil the perfect material to make precision dental impressions
  • It can be used as a tray material for the double mix technique or as a primary impression material while making impressions using the two-step putty/wash technique
  • This impression material complies with the requirements of ISO 4823 for dental elastomeric impression materials
  • Dentsply Aquasil Soft Putty must be stored at temperatures between 10 - 24 °C

Base :-

  • Silica Crystalline
  • Vinyldimethicone
  • Zeolith Highly dispersed silica (AEROSIL®1)
  • Paraffine oil
  • Polydimethyl-hydrogen siloxane
  • Green pigment (Cosmetic Green, C.I. 77288)
  • Yellow pigment (Arc Yellow A16 N)

Catalyst : –

  • Silica Crystalline
  • Vinyldimethicone
  • Zeolith
  • Highly dispersed silica (AEROSIL®1)
  • Paraffine oil
  • Platinum complex + Pt-metal
  • Calcium carbonate 1,3-Divinyltetramethyldisiloxane
  • Titanium dioxide

INDICATION :-

  • It is for use as a tray material for the double mix technique or as primary impression material for a two-step putty/wash technique.

Direction to Use :-

STEP 1- Preparation of Impression Area 

Clean the Impression area with air/water spray and remove excess water.

STEP 2- Mixing and filling the tray

Take equal amounts of catalyst and base using the color-coded measuring spoons and knead with fingertips until the colour of the mix is uniform. Immediately fill prepared tray.
