  •  Better biocompatibility
  •  Non irritant
  •  Liner for all types of filling materials

Features.

  • Better biocompatibility than phosphate cements
  • Non irritant for sensitive teeth
  • Less irritant to the pulp than zinc phosphate cement
  • Cement according to DIN EN ISO 9917-1

Benifits.

  • Easy and safe application
  • Unmatched price-performance ratio for luting materials

Indication

  • Zinc polycarboxylate cement for permanent luting of crowns and bridges, inlays and onlays on natural core and for luting supraconstruction on implants
  • For crowns and bridges made of
  • Zirconia
  • Aluminium oxide
  • Lithiumdisilicate
  • Silicate ceramic
  • For all classical metal and metal-ceramic materials
  • Liner for all types of filling materials

Directions

Areas of Application:
Fixation of crowns and inlays, cavity linings

Dispensing Instructions:
Fixation consistency: 2.9 g powder : 1.0 g liquid
Cavity lining consistency: 3.6 g powder : 1.0 g liquid
Dispensing and testing climate for testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9917:

Processing Recommendations:
A clean, dry glass plate at approx. 20 degree C (68 degree F) and a non-discolouring spatula are recommended for mixing.

Mixing:
Divide the measured quantity of powder into 3 portions (1/2 1/4 1/4). Beginning with the largest quantity, stroke the powder into the measured liquid within 60 seconds. The mixture should appear thicker as usual for zinc phosphate cement, yet it is just as easy to work. The fixation consistency has been reached when the peak formed on lifting the spatula slowly falls back into the paste. The filling consistency has been reached when on lifting the spatula, the peak drawn out forms a small hook and does not sink back into the paste. Discard remaining powder or impure liquids.

Mixing Time:
60 seconds

Processing Time from start of mixing (at 23 degree C, 72 degree F):
For fixation: 2 minutes
For cavity linings: 1 minute 30 seconds
Setting Time from end of mixing: 2:30 – 6:00 minutes

Special Informations:
- The mixed cement should never be applied directly onto dentine near to pulp or onto exposed pulp
- Apply the thinnest possible layer for fixations
- The cement must be applied to the dry tooth surface and must set without contact to moisture
- Remove excess material from neighbouring teeth, facets etc. immediately
- Do not expose liquid to sunlight and frost
- Close containers immediately after removing material
- Clean instruments and glass plate with water before the cement sets Zinc polycarboxylate cement can be dissolved using a cement-solvent after setting
