Harvard Impression Compound red, in plates

 

Instruction for use for the dentist

Thermoplastic compound for individual impressions.

 

Immerse the required quantity of Harvard Impression Compound red in hot water (55 °C / 132 °F). When softened knead thoroughly with the fingers and place in dry impression tray. Before inserting in the mouth, pour a little cold water over the back of the impression tray. Glaze the surface with dry heat (over a spirit lamp or Bunsen), being careful not to use too much heat, and quickly insert into the mouth. After removal, put in to cold water. Rinse with water, immerse in 1% sodium hypochlorite for 10-20 minutes, rinse again.

 

Caution:

  • Undue heat applied to this compound will cause it to deteriorate.
  • Storage temperature: 2 – 25 °C / 36 – 77 °F.
  • Do not use after the expiration date.
